INDIA: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya intrigued the audience to the next level with its first trailer. The short glimpse of the upcoming film provided the word building, which skyrocketed fans’ excitement. The makers recently unveiled the first single, Thumkeshwari, and now the song has arrived in Telugu and Tamil.
Since the announcement of the film, it has gained a lot of buzz on social media. The werewolf-themed premise blending polar opposite genres gained huge anticipation. Given the film’s setting in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, it promises something new for the audience.
Bhediya song Thumkeshwari released in Telugu and Tamil
Maddock Film’s official Twitter handle shared the update. The tweet read, “It’s time to groove to the biggest thumka song in Telugu! #Thumkeshwari (Telugu) song out now. #Bhediya.”
Sachin-Jigar’s musical features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s energetic dance moves. Karthik and Anusha Mani’s magical voice fills the vibrant essence of the song in Telugu and Tamil versions. All thanks to Ganesh Acharya’s choreography that splashes a soulful touch on every detail of the music.
Shraddha Kapoor also appears in a cameo role in the Thumkeshwari song. The arrival of the Bollywood actress opens the door for numerous theories relating to Stree (2018). It will be interesting to watch if her character appears in the film besides the music video. A rumour is also circulating that a new update regarding Stree will be unveiled soon by the makers.
The thing which makes Bhediya an intriguing film for moviegoers is its setup in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe. For the unknown, the horror-comedy universe initiated with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree. The film universe expanded with Janhvi Kapoor’s Roohi, and now Bhediya will join the team.
Besides Bhediya, Munjha is also set to release in the upcoming year. The film is also rumored to be a prequel to Stree. Following Munjha, the much-awaited Stree 2 will arrive on big screens.
Amar Kaushik’s directorial Bhediya will debut with a Pan-Indian release on November 25, 2022. The horror-comedy film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
