INDIA. Bhandara: In another successive step dedicated to the betterment of the youth, Bhandara Police organised Youth 20 Conclave (G20 and Y20 Conclave), where more than 2500 district youngsters were present.
The involvement of young people in the youth forum can be seen as essential support for the district police.
The conclave was held under the vision of Y20 and the Bhandara Police Youth Forum, which was centred around the theme of “youth in democracy and governance”.
The event took place on August 19 at Police Multipurpose Auditorium in Bhandara.
The member of the legislative council and founder of Tarpan Foundation, Shrikant Bhartiya, District Superintendent of Police IPS Lohit Matani, and Chairman of Wainganga Bahu-Uddeshiya Vikas Sanstha Somadatta Karanjekar were present at the conclave to guide the youth.
District Superintendent of Police Lohit Matani has taken this step by creating the board via the youth forum. This initiative aims to fully comprehend the role of students preparing for competitive exams in the development of the district. If such a youth class forms across the state, it will aid in the maintenance of law and order.
Under the Drug-Free India campaign, 2,500 youth pledged to abandon narcotic drug use and to make Bhandra a drug-free district. Participation certificates were given to all the participants.
