JAPAN: Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition is nearing its premiere date. The anime bagged a new key visual and action-packed trailer ahead of the release. Fans have been anticipating the release of the upcoming anime feature since its announcement.
The new poster and trailer offer additional details about the storyline of the anime feature. The enhanced CG animation takes viewers on a rollercoaster of action and emotions.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition bagged a new trailer
Berserk: The Golden Age Memorial Edition emerges as a remastered version of the original Berserk: The Golden Age Arc movie trilogy (released in 2012-2013). The film trilogy includes The Egg of the King (2012), The Battle for Doldrey (2012), and The Advent (2013). The re-edited version will bring back all three films, giving fans of the show a chance to relive the trilogy.
The anime is based on the Berserk manga series by Kentaro Miura. The manga became exceedingly popular among readers due to its dark and epic fantasy theme combined with action elements. Even today, the series’ fan base continues to grow thanks to its extremely unique content.
The official Twitter handle of Berserk unveiled the new trailer. The video opens with Guts’ sword covered in blood, and later the scene shifts to his character revealed in a phenomenal way. The promotional video also showcases the CG animation style and epic war sequences.
The new trailer also features the ending theme of the upcoming anime. Mika Nakashima’s theme song “Wish” plays in the background and elevates the promotional video.
In addition to the trailer, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition also bagged a new key visual. The poster stars Guts swinging his iconic sword. Griffith and Casca are also seen in the key visual.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition will be released on October 1, 2022. The anime feature will be available on TOKYO MX in Japan.
