INDIA: 21-year-old Ayushi Yadav’s abandoned body was found stuffed in a trolley bag near the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura. The body was allegedly thrown by her parents, Nitish and Brajbala.
As per the reports, Ayushi’s parents murdered her because they had objections to her marriage to a man belonging to a different caste.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh, “Ayushi fought with her father on November 17. She had gotten married to a man of her choice because of which her family was unhappy. Enraged over this, her father had shot her twice on November 17 after the argument.” The gun has also been recovered.
In the recent findings, Ayushi’s mother helped her husband dispose of the body of her daughter. According to the police, the victim’s brother was also aware of the murder.
According to sources, the victim went out of the station without informing her father, which made him angry. On November 17, when she returned, Nitish shot her daughter at his own house in Mod band village, Delhi’s Badarpur.
The same night, Ayushi’s parents packed her body in a suitcase and threw it near Raya Cut on the Yamuna Expressway.
The SSP further gave the details of the crime, saying, “The victim’s father, Nitesh Yadav, and mother, Brajbala Yadav, have been arrested and sent to jail. They have been booked under Sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 201 (causing the disappearance of evidence of the offense, or giving false information, to the screen offender) of the IPC.”
Adding more information about the victim’s mother’s involvement, he said, “Brajbala Yadav may not have shot her daughter, but she was involved in disposing of the body and had accompanied her husband to Mathura in a car.”
