INDIA: The Veteran actor of Bollywood, Ashish Vidyarthi, who worked in various big movies like Arjun Pandit, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Bollywood Diaries, R Rajkumar and many more made headlines due to his second marriage.
Ashish Vidyarthi, in his 60s, got married for the second time to Rupali Barua, an entrepreneur from Guwahati, who is reportedly associated with an upscale fashion store in Kolkata. The actor got an intimate marriage in a Kolkata club.
The official photos of Ashish’s wedding weren’t posted on the social media handles, but he confirmed the news to media portals.
Vidyarthi was seen donning a traditional attire for his Assamese-style wedding, whereas Rupali donned a beautiful white Mekhela Chador from Assam, complementing the look with jewellery inspired by South Indian temple art.
Previously, the renowned actor was married to the daughter of actor Shakuntala Barua, popularly known as Rajoshi Barua aka Piloo Vidyarthi. Ashish and Rajoshi together have a 23-year-old son, Arth Vidyarthi.
Following the marriage of Ashish and Rupali, his former wife Rajoshi shared cryptic posts about ‘being hurt’ and ‘overthinking’.
She took to her Instagram story and shared a series of posts that read, “The right one will not make you question what you mean to them. They will not do what they know hurts you. Remember that.”
The next post read, “May the overthinking and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. You’ve been strong long enough. It’s time to start receiving your blessings. You deserve it.”
Talking about Ashish’s second marriage, he opened up about it during media interactions. He called his marriage an ‘extraordinary feeling‘.
Ashish Vidyarthi said, “At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening. We met some time ago and decided to take it forward. But both of us wanted our wedding to be a small family affair.”
Ashish Vidyarthi enjoys a huge fan following and has turned into a travel and food vlogger.
