INDIA: Following the release of a teaser a few days ago, Fakt Mahilao Maate finally gets a trailer. The Gujarati film concentrates on an intriguing notion that piques the viewer’s curiosity. The eye-catching concept also verifies the film’s comic tone, which combines with the family entertainment genre.
The Gujarati film incorporates family entertainer elements
Fakt Mahilao Maate (only for women) chronicles the daily life of Chintan Parikh, a 28-year-old middle-class man who is always encircled by women and is uneased by them. He prays and requests an ability to assist him in comprehending women on one momentous voyage to the Ambaji Temple. Luckily his wish gets granted.
Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear in a cameo role marking his debut in the Gujarati film industry. Besides his secret appearance in the film, he has also added his melodic voice to the trailer, where we can hear the Bollywood superstar quoting Spider-Man’s iconic phrase with a comical twist, ensuring the film’s humorous theme.
Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah produced the film. Jay Bodas added his directorial vision to the Gujarati family entertainer while starring Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role. Yash Soni, Deeksha Joshi, Tarjanee Bhadla, Bhavini Jani, Kalpana Gagdekar, Chetan Daiya, Vaishakh Rathod, Deep Vaidya, and Om Bhatt round up the talented ensemble. Bhargav and Kedar crafted the music for the film, which emerged as a symphonic tune in the trailer.
The film’s producers and director highlight their collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan
Anand Pandit, the film’s producer, outlines his concept for the film, saying, “I always wanted to do a family entertainer in Gujarati, and the first name that came to my mind was only Amitabh Bachchan.” I am grateful that he agreed to come on board not only to play a cameo but also to offer his amazing voice to the film’s narration! What surprised me was his flawless Gujarati diction.”
“Even though I suggested we dub his portions, he replied modestly, “Aap Pehle Hamara Kaam dekhiye!” I should have known better than to suggest he take shortcuts with his work. I am delighted that he is a part of ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate,’ and I am very excited to unveil the trailer, which I believe will show the public exactly how amazing this picture truly is,” he added.
Vaishal Shah recounts his professional experience with the Bollywood superstar, quoting, “I am feeling honoured to produce this film along with Mr Anand Pandit, after recent Hindi film Chehre with Mr Amitabh Bachchan, and now in this film, Mr Bachchan has given his voice as the narrator, and he also has a cameo. We are releasing the film on August 19th, the festival time, so this will be a great treat for the families.”
Jay Bodas, the film’s director, emphasises the theme, offering his viewpoint on the film. The filmmaker states, “I never expected my debut would be Mr Amitabh Bachchan; this picture has all the flavour of family entertainment which is a worth watch with the entire family.”
Jay makes his directorial debut with Fakt Mahilao Maate. He previously worked as an actor and cinematographer in Dhakini (2020) and the 100th (2019).
The film’s theme ensures the directors’ vision, which is evident from the trailer. The official clip’s 2 minutes and 52 seconds take us on a joyride. The Gujarati film industry is well-known for its grounded family entertainer storylines, which eventually highlight the tenderness evident in the surroundings.
