INDIA: Film Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization, started to screen the classic movies of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, marking his 80th birthday celebration.
A total of 11 movies arrived in theatres on October 8, 2022, and will continue to screen till October 11, 2022. From Don to Mili, fans are witnessing the classic films of the Bollywood superstar on big screens.
Don (1978), Chupke Chupke (1975), Satte Pe Satta (1982), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Deewaar (1975), Mili (1975), Namak Halaal (1982), Kaala Patthar (1979), Abhimaan (1973), Kaalia (1981), and Kabhi Kabhie (1976) are currently re-released in cinemas, which has brought massive numbers of fans back to theatres.

Abhishek Bachchan shared his experience of watching Don on big screens. The Bollywood actor wrote, ‘’What a feeling to see Don on the big screen. The audience’s reaction to the ‘‘Mai Hoon Don’’ song is also going viral on social media. Viewers can be seen dancing to the music, and many are cheering for the Bollywood megastar’s iconic dialogues.
Given the numerous fans’ reactions, Amitabh Bachchan’s classic film acted as a magnet to attract viewers.
No wonder he is still the Shahenshah of Hindi cinema, his aura unmatched anywhere in the world.
