INDIA: Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid 19 once again and has asked those in contact with him to test themselves.
In a tweet on Tuesday night, he said, “T 4388 – I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also ..”
This is not the first time that the actor has tested positive. He also tested positive in July 2020, after which he was admitted to Nanavati Hospital.
Amitabh and his son Abhishek were admitted for over two weeks to Nanavati Hospital located at Vile Parle West in Northwest Mumbai in July 2020.
The test reports of his wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aradhya were negative. Aishwarya was home quarantined at that time.
At present, he has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC-14). It is not clear whether his ailment would affect the KBC program schedule. Besides, he is also starring in forthcoming films- Brahmastra and Unchai. In addition, he is also engaged with a sizable number of TV commercials and print advertisements.
