INDIA: Alia Bhatt added another feather to her hat as she became the first Indian Global Ambassador of the Italian fashion house Gucci. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress will make her first appearance at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show in Seoul in the coming week. The prestigious event will take place at the city’s Gyeongbokgung Palace.
The lavish, extravagant brand announced the news that they chose Bhatt as their new ambassador. It wrote, “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the #GucciBamboo1947 bag.”
The Bhramastra actress announced the happy news to the world by wearing a Gucci shirt with a custom-made blazer by Kanika Goyal label and sharing it on her social media handle. However, the only element that caught everyone’s eye is Gucci’s Bamboo 1947 handcrafted sling bag.
The actress wrote, “Honoured to represent the house of Gucci as its Global Ambassador. Looking forward to creating magic together.”
Taking forth the legacy of Gucci, Alia will make her first public appearance in the fashion house at the upcoming Gucci Cruise 2024 runway show in Seoul. This year the fashion house will turn 25 years in the country.
Thus, the organization will throw a grand event. Alia recently made the nation proud at the Met Gala as she made her debut and turned into Prabal Gurung’s muse. The beautiful actress donned a snow-white bridal gown with an embellishment of 1 lakh pearls and crystals.
On the work commitments, Alia Bhatt will make her Hollywood debut with the spy thriller Heart of Stone, opposite Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, which will release on Netflix.
