INDIA: Following the popularity of State of Siege: 26/11, Zee5 is back with a follow-up movie State of Siege: Temple Attack. With this Zee5 film,’ Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna is scheduled to make his OTT debut. The streaming platform published an eye-catching poster for the film on Tuesday (June 29), as well as the film’s release date.
With series and movies like Kaagaz, Jeet Ki Zid, Chintu Ka Birthday, and the State of Siege: 26/11, Zee5 has developed a solid franchise that has been well received by reviewers and the general public.
“It’s time for the NSG to engage!!!#SahasKiVijay phir se hogi,” the streaming platform stated on its Instagram feed.

State of Siege: 26/11 with its realism, marked the viewers with its originality in the time of the pandemic. It went on to become one of the most popular television programs of all time.
The platform said earlier this year that it will release a film that will pay tribute to our soldiers who sacrifice themselves in the terror attack of 2002. While also honoring the brave Indian spirit and continuing the Siege series’ legacy. The original film, State of Siege: Temple Attack, is based on true events.
The director Ken Ghosh mentioned “It will not be just a film, but a tribute to NSG commandos. As the son of a navy officer, I’ve always admired our military. We tried our hardest in the State of Siege: Temple Attack to pay a proper tribute to our soldiers, and I can’t wait for the film to be released on Zee5.”
The terror attack on the Akshardham Temple in 2002 will be the subject of the film. The reality with which the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in the State of Siege were shown, it is expected that this movie will also follow the same path. Akshaye Khanna will be portraying the role of NSG (National Security Guard) officer, as depicted in the teaser.
