INDIA: In a heartwarming development, Akash Ambani, the elder son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Shloka Mehta, welcomed their second child on Wednesday. The arrival of their baby girl has brought joy to the Ambani family. This article shares the news of the couple’s latest addition, as well as provides insights into their previous family milestones.
Akash, the son of Mukesh Ambani, tied the knot with Shloka Mehta, daughter of Indian businessman Russell Arunbhai Mehta, in a grand ceremony in Mumbai in March 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, Prithvi Akash Ambani, in December 2020, and now they are embracing parenthood for the second time with the arrival of their baby girl.
Dhanraj Nathwani, a close family friend of the Ambanis’ children and son of Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, took to Twitter to extend his heartfelt wishes to the Ambani family. He wrote, ”Heartiest congratulations to Akash and Shloka Ambani on the joyous arrival of their little princess! May this precious blessing bring immense happiness and love to your lives.”
Before her delivery, Shloka Mehta sought blessings from the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai, accompanied by her husband Akash, father-in-law Mukesh Ambani, and son Prithvi.
In 2022, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, gave birth to twin babies named Krishna and Aadiya. This addition to the family further enriched the Ambani lineage.
Mukesh Ambani, one of India’s foremost businessmen, has three children who are actively involved in various ventures. Akash oversees the telecom business, while Isha Parimal Ambani is engaged in the retail venture. The youngest, Anant Ambani, is responsible for the new energy projects. Recently, Anant got engaged to Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare.
Notably, the Ambani family recently launched the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), an expansive platform featuring thousands of art and fashion-related projects. Aspiring fashion designers and individuals with artistic aspirations can benefit from this initiative, which aims to promote creativity and innovation.
