INDIA: The most anticipated Drishyam 2 trailer is officially out to watch; the wait is over, as the release date is slated for next month. The Ajay Devgn starrer movie is a spine-chilling thriller featuring Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Akshaye Khanna, and Rajat Kapoor, amongst others.
The suspense story revolves around Vijay Salgaonkar, aka Ajay Devgn and his family, who were held guilty of conducting the murder of Sam Deshmukh, the only son of IG Meera Deshmukh, aka Tabu.

Ajay Devgn took to this social media and wrote, “Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai (Focus on the scenes, not the words. Because in words, lie finds a place to hide). Drishyam 2 Trailer out now. Case reopens on 18th November, 2022.”
The trailer gives a sneak peek of the movie, which is made with the continuation of the same plot. The trailer begins with Devgn’s opening monologue, “truth is like the seed of a tree.” The entire Salgaonkar family was living at their ease of mind, as they thought that the case was closed.
However, 7 years have passed, and the cops are still investigating the case and are after Vijay Salgaonkar and his family. Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna joined as the new investigation officer and called, “Vijay Salgaonkar is a smart man.” He chases Vijay’s family and walks into the shoes of Salgaonkar, a man who is a fourth-grade failure.
An old case with a new investigation is thereby waiting for the audience. The Drishyam sequel is making a comeback to the silver screen after a very long time. The much-awaited sequel will hit theatres on November 18, 2022.
The huge success of Drishyam (2015) made the makers continue to stretch the story narration with all new twists. Abhishek Pathak added his directorial vision to the film. T-Series and Panorama Studios bankrolled the crime-thriller.
