Acer Launches India’s First AMD Ryzen 7000 Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA Graphics

INDIA: Acer has introduced India’s first gaming laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU – the Nitro 5, which features NVIDIA graphics.

All about Acer Nitro 5

The 15.6-inch gaming laptop boasts a 1080p display, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU with 4GB video memory, and a starting price of Rs 79,990. The new Nitro 5 will be available through Acer exclusive stores, Acer E-store, and Flipkart.

The latest edition of the Nitro 5 is available in two CPU variants – AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS CPU or AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, with up to 8 cores and 16 threads with a peak clock speed of 4.55GHz.

It also features technologies such as PCIe Gen5 memory lane, DDR5 RAM support, and AMD EXPO, enabling one-touch CPU overclocking.

To enhance cooling, the Nitro 5 comes with an improved cooling solution and a MUX switch that smartly switches between the iGPU and dedicated GPU. The laptop is powered by a 57.5 Wh 4-cell Li-ion battery that can last up to 8 hours per charge, and it supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

The Nitro 5 also boasts dual 2W speakers with support for 3D spatial soundscape with DTS:X Ultra audio output, HDMI 2.1 for up to 8K resolution output.

The Nitro 5 also has a new and improved keyboard compared to the previous generation model, with four-zone RGB lighting support and highlighted WASD keys for easy identification. Both models offer minimum 16GB of RAM, expandable up to 32GB and up to 1TB of internal storage.

With its impressive specs and features, the Acer Nitro 5 is an excellent option for gamers and professionals who require a high-performance laptop for work and play.
