INDIA: Tollywood Stylish Star Allu Arjun, who is currently preparing himself for the highly anticipated sequel to Pushpa, reunited with director Trivikram Srinivas for the fourth time.
The name of the upcoming project is tentatively given as AA22, marking the collaboration of the actor and the director after the grand success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Julayi, and Son of Satyamurthy.

The film producer, Naga Vamsi, built the hype among fans on Twitter. He wrote, “On this auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, we would like to thank the man we respect as ‘Guruji’, our guide, friend, philosopher and family… #Trivikram garu! Thank you for everything you did for us & Can’t thank you enough for embarking us onto our first Pan-India journey with a huge film. Announcement at 10:08Am, Today!”
Now, he made the big announcement through a teaser video on his social media handle. The makers also unveiled that AA22 will be bigger than ever and promised a visual spectacle. As per reports, Allu is busy with his upcoming mega release of Pushpa 2, after which he will begin shooting in December 2023.
The big-budget film will be bankrolled by joint production banners Harika and Hassine Creations and Geetha Arts.
The film is in its first stage of production, with more updates about the official title, cast, and release date of AA22 still awaited. However, if reports are to be believed, this movie would be the biggest film in Trivikram and Allu Arjun’s filmography.
Previously, the director and actor’s third collaboration, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), brought a storm to the box office collection; it eventually became one of the biggest films of Arjun’s career. The movie bagged Rs 250 crore, smashing all the previous hits.
Talking about Arjun’s upcoming movies, his next is Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, which is expected to hit theatres in mid-2024. Besides this, Allu Arjun will also team up with Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh-fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
On the work front, Trivikram is currently busy filming for his upcoming film Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead.
