The attack dog was hurt while serving with Operation Tangpawa’s battle unit in Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

On Sunday night, security personnel and terrorists engaged in combat in the Tangpawa village of Kokernag in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday, two terrorists were put to death. Another terrorist is allegedly lurking nearby in the meantime.
Security officers conducted a cordon and search operation in the Tangpawa neighbourhood of the south Kashmir state late on Sunday night after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists there.
According to the officials, the army dispatched Zoom, its assault dog, inside the house where the militants were camped out early on Monday.“Zoom is a fierce, dedicated, and well-trained dog. has received training to find and neutralise terrorists,” they claimed.
The operation involved two shots to the dog, according to the officials, who are now in critical condition. Zoom “identified and challenged” the terrorists, the report said.
However, according to the officials, the dog continued to fight and carry out his mission, which led to the death of two militants. In the incident, two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed, and the same number of soldiers were hurt.
