INDIA: After recently releasing the Xiaomi Pad 5, Xiaomi has now released the new Redmi Pad in India. This is the second tablet produced by the company, and it is priced reasonably.

The gadget, designed specifically for novice tablet users, includes a 2K display, the MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, and many other features. Look at the specifics.

Redmi Pad Specifications

Flat edges and a thin, light design characterise the Redmi Pad. Three colour choices are available: Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver, and Mint Green.

Its 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen has a 90Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, a first for the sector of low-cost tablets. It includes 400 nits of brightness, 10-bit colours, and a 15:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, the screen has been certified by Widevine L1, TUV Rheinland, and SGS eye protection is built-in.

The Poco M5, the Moto G72, and other devices are powered by the most recent MediaTek Helio G99, which is also found inside them. It has 128GB of storage out of the box, which can be increased by up to 1TB using a memory card, and up to 6GB RAM.

The tablet has an 8MP back camera and an 8MP front camera with a 105-degree field of view. The FocusFrame technology is supported to keep users in focus during video chats. Similar features include Apple’s Center Stage and Realme’s Limelight.

An 8,000mAh battery and a 22.5W charger are included in the package. On top of Android 12, the Redmi Pad runs MIUI 13 for Pad. Three security patches and two significant updates for the tablet have been announced by Xiaomi. Functions like an integrated document scanner, split-screen shopping app mode, reading mode, floating windows, and more are included.

The tablet includes facial recognition, two mics, a USB-C connector, Dual-band Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth version 5.3 in addition to a quad-speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos.

Microsoft applications and an IP52 rating are compatible. If buyers are first-time subscribers to the service, they can also receive two months of YouTube Premium for free. Furthermore, the Redmi Pad is compatible with external capacitive styli.
