Many people chased the minister on open roadsides, calling her “chorni, chorni” (thief, thief)” and slamming her for “looting public money to enjoy in London”. The Pakistan mistress is the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The same incident caught instant attention from netizens as it’s been viral lately over the social media platform. Several videos have surfaced of how the Pakistani minister was harassed in London.

The video showed Marriyum Aurangzeb busy on her phone, ignoring public slams. A woman claims on national television that she does not carry a dupatta on her head. Speaking about the incident, the information minister responded, “Sad to see the toxic impact [PTI Chairman] Imran Khan’s politics of hate and divisiveness has had on our brothers and sisters.”

On the other hand, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail supported the minister for keeping “grace and composure” intact despite the harassment.

He wrote on his social media platform, “I salute my sister @Marriyum_A for her grace and composure in the face of such harassment and baseless lies from that uncouth woman (who can be heard but thankfully cannot be seen.”

Whereas, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif made his statement loud and clear, “Giving this colour to political differences is a sign of bad training and a trend that is the height of intolerance. The violent trend in politics after Madhhab will destroy our society.”

Asif also appreciated Aurangzeb and said, “Truly a lioness!”
