JAPAN: Season Six of My Hero Academia will bring Deku and the superhero team to the war front. With new villains and threats appearing in the upcoming instalment, the stakes are high this time. So, get ready for the action-packed trailer.

My Hero Academia focuses on Izuku Midoriya, who lacks ‘’Quirk’’ (superhuman ability) in a world brimming with a variety of superheroes. One fateful day Midoriya receives powers from the No. 1 Hero, All Might; this starts his superhero journey, which forms the crux of the anime series.

The superhero anime that debuted in 2016 has amassed a massive global fan base. Fans have been anticipating the arrival of Season Six since Season Five concluded in 2021, and now the trailer has served as a hype factor. The new season will premiere on October 1, 2022.

My Hero Academia Season 6 will cover the longest-running arc from the manga 

The latest trailer opens with the League of Villains and the Hero team facing off against each other. Deku and Bakugou team up to fight the villains, followed by a thunderous background score that gives goosebumps. Endeavor also steals the spotlight, scorching the enemies in the official clip. Out of all the characters, Tomura Shigaraki dominates the entire video with a short glimpse.

Studio Bones is back to bankroll My Hero Academia Season Six with Kenji Nagasaki as the chief director along with Masahiro Mukai. The anime voice cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugou, Kenta Miyake as All Might, and Ayane Sakura as Ochako Uraraka.

The show also stars Kaito Ishikawa as Tenya Iida, Juni’ichi Suwabe as Shouta Aizawa, Tetsu Inada as Endeavor, Yuki Kaji as Shouto Todoroki, Toshiki Masuda as Kirishima, Kaori Nazuka as Mt. Lady, and Masamichi Kitada as Kamui Woods.

My Hero Academia Season Six will adapt the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, and those who have read manga know how much potential this arc holds. Plus, it is one of the longest-running arcs in manga.

Where to watch My Hero Academia Season Six?

My Hero Academia Season Six will debut on YTV and NTV in Japan on October 1, 2022. Crunchyroll will stream the anime outside of Asia, but the exact release date is still to be announced. The series is anticipated to make its streaming debut one day after its release in Japan.

All five seasons of the superhero anime are currently streaming on Netflix in India. So, it is likely that the upcoming season will be accessible on the same platform.
