INDIA. Mumbai: Reliance Jio is planning to introduce the new Jio Phone 5G in India soon. The company previously stated that it is developing the phone but did not provide a release date. It should be noted that Reliance Jio and Google jointly released Jio Phone Next last year.
The previous phone supported 4G, but Reliance aims to provide Indian people with an affordable 5G phone as the nation prepares for the 5G rollout.
On the occasion of India’s 75th anniversary of its independence, the Reliance Jio is prepared to launch its 5G services. According to media reports, the Jio Phone 5G is anticipated to appear in India by the end of the year.

A 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1:600720 pixels and a Snapdragon 480 5G SOC, along with up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, may be included in the next Jio Phone 5G device.
A 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP macro lens will be included in the dual camera configuration on the back of the next forthcoming phone, it is anticipated. It is anticipated to have an 8 MP selfie camera sensor on the front.
Additionally, it is anticipated that the Jio Phone 5G will utilise the same Pragati OS, a bespoke version of Android developed by Jio in conjunction with Google for Jio Android phones.

According to rumours, the Jio Phone 5G will cost around Rs 20,000. According to some rumours, the Jio Phone 5G might cost as little as Rs 2500. Users may be required to make a down payment of Rs.
2500 when buying a phone. Additionally, according to reports, the phone will likely provide complimentary broadband and unlimited calling features, similar to the Jio Phone Next.
Reliance Jio offered an Independence Day promotion for its prepaid customers earlier this month. The telecom provider also introduced the Har Ghar Tiranga and Har Ghar JioFiber programmes. The business is providing free 15 days of benefits from JioFiber plans to new users as part of the promotion. In addition, the organisation has an Rs. 750 unlimited plan for its prepaid customers.
