INDIA. Karnataka: The District Secretary of the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha Janata Party is allegedly proposed to death. The youth leader was Praveen Nettaru from Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district. Mobs suddenly attacked him in front of his poultry shop near the Bellary area. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared defunct. This entire incident flamed fiercely among other BJP party leaders.

In the party office, JP Nadda held a rally to celebrate one year of the Basavaraj Bommai government. Amid the rally, this brutal killing took place, which shook the entire state. The investigating team is probing the case and trying to find the link to the murder. The ongoing investigation has already booked 15 people found involved with the murder.

Mass registration from the BJP Yuva Morcha office-bearers came across different cities like Udupi, Koppala, Tumakuru and Chikkamagaluru. The Bommai government has been heavily trolled over social media, and party workers of Mudigere, Sringeri and Koppa demand the resignation of Home Minister Araga Jnanendra. BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi doubts the case similar to Kanhaiya Lal’s murder case in Udaipur of Rajasthan and Umesh Prahladrao Kolhe’s murder at Amaravathi in Maharashtra. It is said that Nettaru opposed the murder of Kanhaiya Lal, so this could be a case of revenge.

The former chief minister, BS Yediyurappa, targeted the leading government, criticising it for failing to protect its party leaders. MP Renukacharya, the Chief minister’s political secretary, said, “I will resign from my post and also as MLA if strict action is not taken against the perpetrators.” He also attacked the home ministry for failing to trace the person who made a threat call to him. “People don’t need heroic speeches but stringent action.”
