UNITED STATES: David O. Russell’s multi-starrer Amsterdam trailer depicts a plot full of mayhem and subtly retro themes infused with modern vibes. The trailer features Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington in the front portraying their persona as two Soldiers and a Nurse. Bale’s portrayal of a murderer in Chris Rock’s monologues enhances his role as the movie’s main character.

The trailer provides a thrilling murder mystery lining between fact and fiction

Set in the 1930s, the film’s props design from the teaser looks like we’ve teleported back in time. The film is a mix of fact and fiction about one of America’s most frightening covert conspiracies. The premise centres on three friends who witness a murder, later become suspects and set out to discover the shocking truth.

Besides the lead cast, the film also stars Robert De Niro, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Rami Malek, Timothy Olyphant, and Michael Shannon in pivotal roles. Swift appears in the trailer, but her character appears for only a few seconds, so only the keenest fans may have noticed her persona. This adds every cast member to the collection of talent that stands out in the trailer.

The teaser plainly shows that Bale is one of the trio, which is a primary suspect in the crime. The clip also reveals that Bales’ character would be assisted by his friends and Robert De Niro in clearing his name.
