Bandits Kill 11, Burn Houses in Kaduna

The Kaduna state governor, Nasiru El-Rufai has also condemned the attack and urged security personnel to take necessary actions to end all forms of insecurity

NIGERIA. Kaduna State: Around 11 people have been killed by the members of dreaded Boko Haram in Kurmin Masara in Zango Kataf local government area of Kaduna state, government officials said.

The incident was confirm in a press release by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

In the press release Aruwan said, “Members of the Nigerian Airforce special forces were also attacked by the same bandits. But the forces try as much as possible to clear the bandits’ hideout”.

“11 locals have been confirmed dead while scores were injured,” Aruwan added.

Aruwan noted that since then security officials have begun its search to eliminate their hideout and to help in rescuing the kidnapped victims. 

The Kaduna state governor, Nasiru El-Rufai has also condemned the attack and urged security personnel to take necessary actions to end all forms of insecurity in the state.

Additionally, El-Rufai, also expressed his condolences to the members of the bereaved families and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured ones.

In recent times, Kaduna, Niger, Zamfara Katsina and Burno states have been victims of of insurgency. 

The recent attack came after president Mohammadu Buhari’s visited the state where he assured everyone of ending insecurity in the state.

Buhari also applauded and urged security personnel to do more to bring an end to the insecurity.
