UNITED KINGDOM: England defeats Denmark 2-1 in the semi-final of Euro 2020 and England will now face Italy in the finals. The whole Wembley stadium erupted when England defeated Denmark and make their way through the finals of Euro 2020.
This match was just as thrilling as the 1st semi-final which was played between Italy and Spain. Denmark’s Mikkel Damsgaard scored the goal in the 30th min to put Denmark ahead of England.
It was also the first goal that England had conceded in 480 minutes at EURO 2020.
In the 39th min, Harry Kane passed the ball to Bukayo Saka who then shot a cross pass to Raheem Sterling and when Denmark captain Simon Kjaer tried to tackle the ball from Sterling, Simon Kjaer scored an own goal and the scores were level at the end of the first half.

When the second half started both teams were playing cautiously and as the result, at the end of 90 mins no extra goals were scored. The match then went on to the extra time where Raheem Sterling got tackled inside the penalty box and England got a penalty.
Harry Kane was the man who was ready to take the penalty but the goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who was doing outstanding work throughout the match saved the shot from Harry Kane but Kane converted the rebound to score the winning goal for his team and England defeated Denmark by 2-0.
England will face Italy in the finals at Wembley Stadium in London, with over 60,000 fans expected to be in attendance.
