Ambition Appoints Jared Houghton as CEO to Drive AI Innovation in Global Sales Performance

UNITED STATES: Ambition, the leading AI-powered sales performance platform, today announced the appointment of Jared Houghton as its new CEO. Houghton, one of the company’s original co-founders and its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) since its launch in 2014, will now lead the company’s vision to empower the largest and most sophisticated global sales teams through AI innovation.

Travis Truett, Ambition’s CEO since inception, will remain active on the Board of Directors, focusing on driving innovation. “Jared’s deep understanding of our customers and their goals will allow us to strengthen our commitment to delivering unmatched value to enterprises,” said Brian Trautschold, co-founder and COO of Ambition.

In the past two quarters, Ambition has launched two groundbreaking AI products—AI Insights and Coaching Pre-Reads—and added major clients like Clear, Rimini Street, and SentinelOne, further positioning itself as a leader in AI-driven sales solutions. Ambition AI enables sales managers to optimize one-on-one coaching sessions in under a minute, identifying performance anomalies and guiding managers with targeted questions to drive success.

Jared Houghton Drives Ambition’s AI-Powered Sales Innovation

This fall, Ambition will introduce a dedicated Pipeline Coaching product, designed to give sales managers a powerful revenue and deal management system. “Every sales manager needs the intelligence of our pipeline engine,” said Houghton. “We’re giving leaders deeper insights into the sales process, enabling them to track rep performance, manage risks, and accelerate deals.”
