Mysterious Disappearance and Death of Woman in Nagpur’s Yashodhara Nagar

No reports about the identity or whereabouts of the perpetrator(s) have emerged thus far

INDIA. Nagpur: A 33-year-old woman has gone missing from Yashodhara Nagar and was later discovered raped and murdered. The woman was reportedly last seen on the night of Saturday, August 19. Subsequently, her parents filed a missing person’s report. 

According to police sources, she had dinner and then went for a night walk, after which she went missing. She was later found near the Mouda district, under the shelter of a logistics company, on Sunday.

Although unconscious, she was still alive. She was quickly transported to Mayo Hospital, where her condition worsened, leading to her eventual passing on Monday.

As of now, there have been no reports regarding the identity or whereabouts of the perpetrator(s). Gyaneshwar Bhedorkar, a police inspector and moderator, revealed during an interview with the Transcontinental Times (TCT) at Mayo Hospital in Nagpur, “The woman was alive upon arrival at the hospital; more information will be available after the post-mortem.”

He further added, “The woman has a noticeable bump on her head, suggesting that she may have been forcefully struck against a hard surface.”

Disturbingly, TCT insiders reported that the woman’s body was found unclothed beneath the shed where she was discovered. “Further investigation is in progress with the assistance of CCTV cameras. More answers will follow after the completion of the post-mortem examination,” Rural Police Kishore Nagrale conveyed to TCT.”
