INDIA: Kawasaki enthusiasts in India have reason to rev up their excitement as the renowned motorcycle manufacturer introduces the 2024 iteration of the Ninja 650.
Priced at an ex-showroom rate of Rs. 7.16 lakh, the new model brings a slight price increase compared to its predecessor, the 2023 version, which retailed for Rs. 7.12 lakh.
Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, the 2024 Ninja 650 retains the eye-catching styling cues that have become synonymous with the Ninja lineup.
The design includes a distinctive twin-pod headlight upfront, a muscular fuel tank, a full-fairing structure, a step-up seat, and the characteristic underbelly exhaust. Adding a touch of racing flair, the Lime Green colour option is complemented by the Kawasaki Racing Team graphics.
Underneath its visually striking exterior, the 2024 Ninja 650 carries forward the technological prowess that motorbike enthusiasts have come to expect. The bike boasts full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled color TFT display, dual-channel ABS, and a traction control system. These features, which were highlights of the 2023 model, contribute to a seamless and technologically advanced riding experience.
Powering the Ninja 650 is the reliable 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, delivering a robust performance of 67.3bhp at 8,000rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,700rpm.

In terms of hardware, the motorcycle boasts a trellis frame, telescopic front forks, mono-shock rear suspension, twin front discs, and a single rear rotor. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels equipped with 120/70-section front and 160/60-section rear tubeless tires, the Ninja 650 ensures a balanced and smooth journey on the road.
