UNITED STATES: The preseason clash between Arsenal and Manchester United is set to kick off their US tour, with both teams showing promising performances so far.
United secured victories against Leeds United and Lyon, while Arsenal dominated an MLS All-Star team with a 5-0 win on July 20.
This matchup marks the beginning of the second phase of preseason preparations for Arteta and Erik ten Hag. Notable signings like Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber are expected to make their debuts.
However, United’s new goalkeeper, Andre Onana, will need more time to join the team. Both coaches are keen on starting the 2023-24 season on a high note.
