INDIA: The upcoming mega-film of Nag Ashwin, Project K has been making buzz around the internet ever since the movie was announced back in 2020, and there is nothing to wonder about, as it has all the reasons for the hype.
The upcoming sci-fi movie will feature Prabhas in the lead role, while Bollywood star Deepika Padukone appears as the female lead. Now, the first look from the movie has dropped, which showcases the actress in a very serious mood, hinting at major action.
The makers of Project K, Vyjayanthi Movies, opted to use their official social media handles on July 17 and dropped the highly anticipated first look of their leading heroine, Deepika Padukone.
The photo has a caption that reads, “A hope comes to light for a better tomorrow. This is Deepika Padukone from Project K, First Glimpse on July 20 (USA) and July 21 (India).”
The rest of the cast and crew of Project K are expected to be revealed after the film’s Comic-Con launch. Not only this, but the film’s original title will be disclosed on the same day.
The face of Pakuone looks fierce and surreal in her first look from Project K, which features her in a rustic avatar. She is seen in a brownish-grey dress, which gives a major hint of a war suit. The look is quite intense.
From the poster, it appears that Deepika enhanced her look with a free hairdo and a no-make-up look. It could be speculated that Deepika might be playing a war-action role.
Besides this, the rise in anticipation is even greater now that it’s confirmed that Kamal Haasan is playing the lead antagonist in Project K. Bollywood’s veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan plays a pivotal role. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music album and original score for the film.
