INDIA: Prabhas’ upcoming mega film, Project K, title and release date will be unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con event. The makers announced that Project K would be launched officially at the eminent event on July 19, 2023.
The Nag Ashwin directorial will be the first film to make its debut at San Diego Comic-Con in 2023. The big revelation is made via a special poster of Prabhas in a comic book art style.
On July 20, the SDCC celebration will begin with the presence of a panel featuring special guests, including Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Superstars Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, alongside the National Award-winning director Nag Ashwin.
The film’s production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, made the announcement on its social media handle. It wrote, “PROUD MOMENT! San Diego @Comic_Con, here we come. #ProjectK.”
Reacting to the news, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “I am honoured and have had the great privilege of being a part of this great enterprise in Telugu Cinema, ‘Project K’ and to have had the huge honour of being in the same frame of the Idol , Prabhas ..”

According to reports, Project K will be about the modern-day avatar of Lord Vishnu. The film will feature Prabahs as the lead, Deepika Padukone as a female lead, and there are rumours that Kamal Haasan will appear as an antagonist.
Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani will round up the star cast in pivotal roles. Reportedly Dulquer Salmaan will also appear in a cameo role.
The Prabhas starrer is set to chronicle in two parts and the first part is expected to release on Makar Sankranti 2024.
