SPAIN: Lando Norris, the talented Formula 1 driver, has unfortunately become the target of another theft, this time while on holiday in Spain. The incident occurred at the villa where Norris and his friends were staying ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix race weekend.
The shocking robbery has left Norris and his companions shaken and missing valuable possessions. Lando Norris, who previously fell victim to a mugging incident outside Wembley Stadium after the delayed European Championship football final in 2021, has again faced the misfortune of robbery.
During the previous incident, his rare Richard Mille watch, valued at £40,000, was stolen by two assailants.
This time, while enjoying a vacation in Spain, Lando Norris and his friends were out for dinner when unknown miscreants burglarised the villa. Speaking to the media, Norris confirmed the incident and expressed his distress over the stolen items.
He refrained from revealing too many details as an ongoing investigation is underway. The friends accompanying Lando Norris included social media influencer Jennie Dimova, who took to TikTok to share her ordeal.
In a video, Dimova revealed that the thieves had ransacked the villa, leaving her with nothing. She recounted how all her belongings, including clothes, shoes, bags, and jewellery, were taken, leaving her devastated. With the Austrian Grand Prix approaching, Norris will strive to put this distressing experience behind him.
McLaren and his team are set to unveil the initial phase of scheduled upgrades for the race, which will contribute to the development of the B-Spec McLaren MCL60.
Although McLaren has admitted to starting the F1 2023 season below their expectations, Norris has secured 12 points in the first eight rounds, placing him at P11 in the current Drivers’ standings. Despite the setbacks he has faced off the track, Norris remains determined and focused on his racing career.
