INDIA: This highly awaited Sidharth Anand-directed film, Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has been making buzz ever since the announcement of the film was made.
Now, fans can’t stop their level of excitement as the War hero posts the first photo featuring himself from the movie. The picture instantly raised the bar for the netizens as they started comparing Roshan’s look with Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick. The action movie will also feature Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role.
Reports suggest this is the first aerial action film being made in Bollywood. Previously, Anil Kapoor was seen making efforts and preparing a lot for the film. The other actors, too, kept sharing glimpses of their training sessions, which kept the fans hooked.
The War actor shared the first look and wrote, “#Fighter #25Jan2024 #7MonthsToFighter.”
In the recent picture, Hrithik is seen in a uniform, adoring his fighter jet by resting his hand on it. Whereas he didn’t show his face as he clicked the photo by showing his back towards the camera, Hrithik looked at the air jet.
In 2021, Hrithik unveiled a teaser of Fighter on his social media handle. He wrote, “It is an honour for me as an actor to introduce and be a part of Mamta and Sid Anand’s first production #Fighter for Marflix. This one is special as it deepens my association with a director and friend whose journey I have witnessed from being an AD on my sets to directing me in Bang Bang and War.”
Adding more to it, he wrote, “And now, as he turns producer for Fighter, I can’t seem to contain my excitement. This one is pure adrenaline for the heart and mind. So here goes the boom. Thank you, Sid, for believing in me and making me your co-passenger yet again. Here’s to your journey towards the sky!”
