INDIA: The highly anticipated film, Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin, will be a grand, VFX-heavy film. The Tollywood feature will be made with a list of prominent actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, and with a brand new addition, Kamal Haasan.

The makers of the film opted to use the social media handle to welcome the actor as he got on board for the upcoming high-octane action featurette. Apart from the team, Senior Bachchan also made an official tweet confirming Kamal Haasan’s part in the film. The upcoming mega-project Project K marks Deepika Padukone’s debut in the Telugu film industry.

Vyjayanthi Movies shared the news with a poster. The production house wrote, “Welcoming the greatest actor Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan. Our journey has become Universal now. #ProjectK.”

The video started with the text, “We needed someone whose shadow could cover the earth. There was only one… Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.”

The filmmaker Nag Ashwin reposted the tweet and wrote, “This man is a legend… and a legend is what we needed for this role. Can’t wait to learn and make something timeless, sir @ikamalhaasan.”

Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Kamal Haasan by writing on his social media handle, “Welcome, Kamal .. great working with you again .. it’s been a while.”

Prabhas expressed joy by writing, “A moment that will be etched in my heart forever. Honoured beyond words to collaborate with the legendary @ikamalhaasan sir in #ProjectK. The opportunity to learn and grow alongside such a titan of cinema is a dream come true moment.”

The film is bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt; thus, he gave insight into details about the film. As per the producer, the film is now almost 70% complete. During an interview with a Telugu YouTube channel, the producer said that Project K would be “a grand, VFX-heavy film.”

According to Ashwin Dutt, Project K will have heavy VFX. He also stated that the team has been working on the graphics for five months and will continue into next year. According to him, the team has finished roughly 70% of the shoot thus far.
