Sachin Pilot Honors Late Father and Advocates for Justice in Rally Address

Rajasthan: The former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, who exhibited remarkable political acumen from an early age, recently delivered a speech at a rally in Dausa, a region where his family holds significant influence. The occasion marked the death anniversary of his late father, Rajesh Pilot, a prominent politician. 

During his address, Pilot took the opportunity to criticize the current Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, stating, “I had the privilege of serving in the government, where I consistently raised pertinent issues. Throughout my political career, I have consistently voiced my opposition to injustice.”

Pilot highlighted his father’s invaluable contributions to the state, emphasizing Rajesh Pilot’s unwavering support for farmers and underprivileged communities. The Member of the Legislative Assembly expressed, “My father was a true patriot, having served as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. He fearlessly voiced his opinions, irrespective of his official position. Today, what we need are leaders who can speak from the heart, just like him.” Rajesh Pilot, a former Member of Parliament from the Dausa constituency, tragically lost his life in a car accident on June 11, 2000.

The Tonk MLA reaffirmed his commitment to fighting corruption and injustice, vowing not to deviate from the promises he made to the people. He emphasized the significance of earning the trust of the citizens, as leaders come and go, but the trust of the people endures. The leader asserted that his focus is not on acquiring positions of power.

Throughout his 20-25 year-long political career, he maintained an unwavering dedication to upholding the trust of the public. Presently, he aims to seek justice for ordinary citizens who suffered during the tenure of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. This includes advocating for the reconstitution of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and compensation for those affected by the leak of job examination papers.
