INDONESIA. Jakarta: Maserati MSG Racing driver Maximilian Günther secures his fourth win in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the GulaVit Jakarta E-Prix 2023, leading by 2.822 seconds to Jake Dennis of the Avalanche Andretti Formula E Team, who interestingly started the race in second position and finished it in second position too. This was Günther’s first in the iconic blue livery of legendary automaker Maserati.

Mitch Evans recovered from the dramatic all-Jaguar collision on the previous day to secure third position, almost 18 seconds behind the Maserati MSG Racing driver. This win helped Jake secure vital points, and he finished just one point behind TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team driver Pascal Wehrlein in Drivers Standing.

The driver duo of Sacha Fenestraz and Norman Nato, driving the Nissan, made late progress to seal fourth and fifth positions on the grid, respectively.

Envision Racing’s Nick Cassidy lost his championship leader position to Pascal Wehrlein after his car came into contact with the latter during an overtake. Wehrlein, TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team driver António Félix da Costa, and Edoardo Mortara of the Maserati MSG Racing team secured sixth, seventh, and eighth positions at the end of the race.
