Adipurush New Song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ Shows the Beautiful Saga of Raghava and Janaki

INDIA: The much-anticipated pan-India film Adipurush has been making noise since the makers dropped the first teaser of the movie. Om Raut’s upcoming film is made of high-quality VFX and religious songs, making it a perfect family movie. 

Now, the makers released a new song ‘Ram Siya Ram’, from the film, which is a recreation of a popular bhajan of the same name. The music couple Sachet Tandon and Parampara Tandon have sung the latest edition, which is written by Manoj Muntashir.

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush receives new song

Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush stars Prabhas as Raghava and Kirti Sanon as Janhki. However, the character of Lankesh, who is portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, is still kept under wraps. The film will now hit theatres on June 16, 2023.

Sharing the song via Twitter, director Om Raut wrote, “The soul of Adipurush. Ram Siya Ram.” The song is a beautiful blend of love and patience – anticipation and compassion -faith and trust. The musical clip celebrates Raghava and Janaki’s pure love.

In a media interaction, Kriti opened up about how she felt while working on the movie during a trailer launch event. The actor mentioned that she is feeling quite emotional right now and that viewing the teaser gave her goosebumps since this is much more than just a movie. 

Kriti added that the experience she and the entire team had while making this movie was unique. The actor said she wanted to express her gratitude to Om Raut for having faith in her as Janaki.

“You had faith in me that I could play that role because there are very few actors who get such a role in their lifetime. I feel very, very blessed,” she said. 

Further, she said, “I have poured my heart and soul into Janaki.” 

Kriti added that she had great faith in the role, but as the filming progressed, she began to learn more and more about the character.

“She is very pure and has a kind soul, a loving heart and a strong mind. In my poster as well, you will see there is pain, but there is no fear in it. It was a huge emotion for me. We are mere humans, forgive us if we have faltered,” Kriti concluded.
