Alongside the Echo Pop, the company also unveiled the next-generation Echo Show 5, the Echo Show 5 Kids, a refreshed Echo Buds, and an even more compact Echo Auto.
At the heart of this new lineup is the Echo Pop, an entry-level smart speaker that combines a 1.95-inch front-firing speaker, Eero WiFi support, and the convenience of built-in Alexa functionality. Encased in a unique semi-spherical design, the Echo Pop offers the ability to stream music, receive shopping notifications, and access a variety of smart features. Designed with children in mind, the Echo Show 5 Kids offers kid-friendly responses, explicit lyric filtering, and even assistance with homework. Priced slightly higher at $99.99, the Echo Show 5 Kids also comes with a two-year worry-free guarantee, including one year of Amazon Kids+. This offering is available in select markets.
Music enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the updated Echo Buds. Priced at $49.99, these true wireless earbuds feature a semi-in-ear design and are sweat resistant. With a battery life of 5 hours, the Echo Buds can provide up to 20 hours of music playback when combined with the charging case. Notably, they also offer the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously.
Furthermore, Amazon has expanded the availability of the Echo Auto to more markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Japan. The new version of the Echo Auto features a slimmer profile and includes five microphones to enhance voice recognition capabilities.
