Described as “no mere GT. Grand is not enough,” the upcoming DB signifies Aston Martin’s departure from the norms of the GT sector.

The shadowed sports car showcased in the teasers features a familiar yet distinct shape, indicating that it’s more than a continuation of the DB series.

Aston Martin intends to break new ground with this release, celebrating the 75th anniversary of its iconic DB line. The interior teaser offers a glimpse into the high-tech features awaiting drivers.

Aston Martin has packed the centre console with controls, including settings for the suspension, active exhaust, stability, traction, driver assistance, and climate control.

The presence of an engine start/stop button confirms the inclusion of a traditional combustion engine under the hood, preserving Aston Martin’s heritage.

Leaked spy photos from earlier this year revealed changes to the grille and headlights, drawing inspiration from Valhalla.

The teardrop-shaped lights, showcased prominently in the teasers, display larger lenses and three internal elements.

The teasers also hint at a more prominent grille, further amplifying the car’s bold and aggressive aesthetics.

Recent sightings of camouflaged prototypes undergoing testing at the Nürburgring indicate the possible return of a V12 powertrain for the next-gen DB.

Videographers captured the distinct tone of twelve-cylinder engine exhaust, suggesting that Aston Martin’s internal combustion engines are here to stay.

However, the brand’s commitment to electrification is evident through the Valhalla’s plug-in hybrid powertrain, which combines a twin-turbocharged V8 with electric motors.

The company’s future lineup appears promising as Aston Martin prepares to unveil the next-gen DB.

With plans to introduce eight new vehicles by 2026, including the highly anticipated DB successor, Aston Martin aims to continue pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation in the luxury automotive industry.

Enthusiasts and fans of the iconic DB series can eagerly await the official debut of this groundbreaking model on May 24.
