INDIA: The Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently made her presence count for the promotional event of her upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan 2.
However, in the recent past, the Bachchan family has been making headlines as their 11-years old kid moved to Delhi, HC, taking a bold move against scripted rumours about her health. Now, the media approached the actress, asking about Aaradhya Bachchan’s decision to move to the Court.
It’s not the first time when the Bachchan family has been unnecessarily dragged into the limelight. There were many instances when Aishwarya spoke about the snag of being a public figure.
Now, Aishwarya reacted to the question and said, “It’s wonderful that a media representative is acknowledging its existence. We thank you very much for your wise identification of the detrimental effects of false writing or unneeded, insensitive writing and for giving us tremendous hope that you will not repeat or support that.“
She added, “Therefore, I want to express my gratitude for your support of the viewpoint that we all hold as well as for your insight in realising that.”
Now for the unversed, the granddaughter of Big B, Aaradhya Bachchan, had moved Delhi High Court against a YouTube tabloid for spreading ‘fake news’ about her health.
Thus, the Delhi High Court took strict action against nine YouTube videos. Thereby, the Court has banned nine YouTube channels from spreading insensitive content about Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter.
The official order stated, “Defendants 1-9 are restrained forthwith from disseminating or further transmitting the videos relating to URLs (enlisted in para 25-26) of the application.”
Talking about Aishwarya’s upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan 2, the film serves as a sequel to the 2022 Tamil hit PS 1. Besides the Bollywood actress, Mani Ratnam directorial film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Karthi and Shobhita Dhulipala in pivotal role.
