INDIA: On April 19, 2023, Mohammed Siraj, the leading wicket-taker for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), reported a corrupt approach to the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
According to reports, an unknown person, who had lost a considerable amount of money in an IPL game, approached Siraj seeking “inside information” about RCB’s team.
