ASUS Reaffirms Commitment to Upgrade Its ROG Gaming Laptop Lineup in India

INDIA: ASUS ROG leads the gaming industry in India with initiatives tailored to guide, mentor, and challenge rising talents in the e-sports arena. 

The company has reiterated its commitment to Indian gamers and expanding the e-sports ecosystem.

ASUS India’s Business Head, Arnold Su, said e-sports is a rapidly expanding industry in India. ASUS ROG has been at the forefront of the revolution with initiatives such as ROG Academy, ROG Masters, and ROG Showdown.

ASUS ROG has emerged as the top gaming brand in India for four consecutive quarters, with over 30 percent market share.

Su added that the brand clocked a 31 percent growth rate, demonstrating that the number of people who want to own a robust, powerful machine continues to grow. 

ASUS ROG has introduced various laptop lineups designed to match the needs of the gaming community as a whole, from affordable gaming machines to top-of-the-line industry innovations.

In an interaction with the media, Country Product Manager (India) PC, ASUS India, Sam Huang, said the new gaming machines come equipped with exceptional features such as Advanced Optimus, G-sync display, and the latest Intel and AMD processors. 

ASUS is also setting a new benchmark for the gaming display industry with the best-in-class Nebula and Nebula HDR Standard. 

Huang added that ASUS ROG pays special attention to cooling and display, ensuring gaming laptops deliver the best output for an immersive gameplay experience.

ASUS ROG has aggressive plans for expanding in the country, opening its 200th store in Delhi this year. 

The company aims to increase demand in urban and suburban markets in tier II and III cities to establish multiple touchpoints. 

ASUS ROG aims to open stores in high-traffic locations in 2023 that are easily accessible to customers. 

Su said the company aims to add at least 20 stores every quarter and is targeting 300 stores by the end of 2023. 

The “phygital” expansion strategy aims to cross over 40 percent market share in the gaming laptop market.

ASUS ROG aims to continue pushing the bar for laptop gaming performance, paired with the best gaming displays and innovative cooling solutions.
