ISRAEL: On April 9, targets in Syria were attacked by the military in Israel following the launch of six rockets emanating in two phases from the Syrian region that targeted the northeastern boundary of Israel.

Israel reacted immediately following the attack of the three rockets with fires from the artillery in the Syrian territory where the rockets were fired. Israeli fighter jets attacked army spots in Syria that also incorporated a Syrian 4th Division radar and an artillery post compound.

After days of ruthless tension in the pivotal spots in Jerusalem, the rocket attacks took place that resulted in the police raid initiated by Israel on one of the most sanctimonious sites in the city. There were, however, no reports of casualties.

One of President Bashar Assad’s advisors in Syria explained the attacks as “part of the previous, present, and continuing response to the brutal enemy.” A 20-year-old Palestinian named Ayed Salim was shot in Azzun, a town in Palestine. This resulted in enraged protests in the region.

Syria’s emanating rocket fire happened during the ruthless Israeli-Palestinian raid that occurred in the compound close to the Al-Aqsa mosque.

The Palestinians targeted the holy month of Ramadan and irked the military in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

On Sunday, more than 2,000 police were instructed to take care of spots in Jerusalem when tens of thousands of Jews amalgamated on the western part for a holy Passover blessing from the priest.

Police Chief Doron Turgeman of Jerusalem blamed the Hamas militant group that took control over the Gaza Strip. He said, “We will allow the freedom of worship, and we will allow the arrival of Muslims to pray,” adding that they “will act with determination and sensitivity.”

Israeli police attacked a mosque earlier in the week, using tear gas and stun grenades to scatter hundreds of Palestinians who had locked themselves inside in order to start the current wave of violence. The raid’s violent actions incite unrest in the disputable capital and indignation throughout the Arab world.
