PM Modi to Flag off Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Check All Details Inside 

The latest express will cover a 708 km distance in around seven hours, and 45 minutes

INDIA: On his ongoing trip in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the capital city of Bhopal to officially launch the country’s 11th Vande Bharat service to Delhi. PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and New Delhi.

Talking about this, Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, “PM Modi will be visiting Madhya Pradesh. During his visit to Bhopal on April 1, he will give a big gift to the people of the state in the form of the Vande Bharat Express.” Besides this, the PM will also attend the ongoing Combined Commanders’ Conference.

As per information, the latest express will cover a 708 km distance in around seven hours and 45 minutes. The train may run from Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati station to Hazrat Nizamuddin station instead of New Delhi railway station, saving half the time of travelling. The train is likely to stop at Veerangana Laxmi Bai Jhansi and Gwalior stations. 

Reportedly, the train will leave the station from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station at 5:55 am, following a five-minute stop at Agra Cantt Railway Station, and will proceed towards New Delhi station at 1:45 pm. The return would be from New Delhi at 2.45 pm and it will reach the last stop, Rani Kamlapati railway station, at 10.45 pm.

As per an official statement, “The indigenously designed train set of the Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.” 

The fare of the Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20172) between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Rani Kamalapati station will be ₹1665 with the inclusion of ₹308 as optional catering charges. The Executive class is fixed at ₹3120, and chair car tickets for Train No. 20171 Vande Bharat Express will cost around ₹1735 including ₹379 as service charges. The price for the executive class is ₹3185.
