INDIA. Nagpur: On Thursday, March 23, 2023, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched three locations in Nagpur as a part of its ongoing investigation into the Gazwa-e-Hind case. It is related to the radicalization of impressionable youth through a variety of social media platforms for the purpose of committing violent terrorist acts.

According to the NIA, in the Phulwari Sharif investigations, “It is found that accused Margub Ahmad Danish, a self-radicalized man, was in contact with a number of foreign entities on the WhatsApp group “Ghazwa-e-Hind,” created by him.”

“The goal of this group was to radicalize vulnerable youth by glorifying terrorist acts and activities in Kashmir. Moreover, he had established the Ghazwa-e-Hind BD WhatsApp group, which promoted the violent takeover of India,” according to previous claims made by the National Investigation Agency.
