INDIA: Shark Tank 2, which premiered on January 2, features five big-shot investors known as “sharks,” who hear pitches from entrepreneurs from all walks of life about their ideas.

The sharks featured in episode 10 are Anupam Mittal, founder, and CEO of Shaadi.com—People Group; Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Aman Gupta, co-founder and CMO of BoAt; Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart.com; and Vineeta Singh, co-founder, and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics.
You have already heard that the new season of Shark Tank India is influenced by many reality TV shows like Bigg Boss and Indian Idol, as well as MasterChef’s culinary techniques with a dash of Roadies masala.
The most recent episode has added a new inclusion to this list as fans have observed dance and performance elements of Boogie Woogie.
Similar to the “House of Chikankari” pitch, the ninth episode of “Zillionaire” featured the Gen-Z founders and their supportive hip-hop crew to emphasise the brand’s culture.
In the last few episodes, we saw some shark drama brew and quickly turn into significant fights. The audience took note of how Anupam Mittal was discovered to be the centre of them all.
However, this episode helped him turn things around when he ultimately signed his own solo contract with “Zillionaire” and was honoured as the “King of Bling.”
The following participants were “CredMate” and “Freebowler.” While the latter received no investments this time, Namita Thapar’s last-minute decision to join their creative strategy to enhance Indian cricket training gave the former’s dwindling hopes a boost.
Their manually controlled and battery-powered bowling machines attracted a lot of interest from the audience as well, who immediately praised the crew for their efforts.
The most recent episode of the season was relatively contained and quiet as compared to the earlier episodes, but once again, viewers couldn’t help but notice Peyush Bansal’s collection of eyeglasses.
In fact, one Twitter user even tagged Lenskart to share the list of eyeglasses he’s been wearing on the show.
