Nayanthara Recalls Her ‘Battle of existence’ in the Entertainment Industry

In a recent interview, Nayanthara discussed every little experience that has helped her establish a place in the industry

INDIA: Nayanthara, a lady superstar of the South Indian cinema industry, credited her long-lasting success to the viewers while still entertaining large audiences with her performances.

The diva has worked with multiple languages for nearly two decades. However, the road to success is usually paved with obstacles, but Nayanthara overcame them all.

In a recent interview, Nayanthara discussed every little experience that has helped her carve a place in the industry. “There is so much that I have learned, that I have gone through, but it has all been nice. Whatever mistakes I have made, the good and bad phases (I have been through), everything is good now. It is all a learning experience,” she said. 

The Thalaivi also expressed her gratitude for God’s kindness to her and said, “It is not easy to be in the industry for 18–19 years, but the audience and God have been kind to me. I feel blessed. I don’t know how to put the whole thing together (in words).”

Nayanthara kicked off her career in 2003 in the Malayalam film “Manassinakkare.” She never settled into her comfort zone and tried her hands at other language movies, including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. She acted in “Ayya” (2005), “Lakshmi” (2006), and “Super” (2010). 

She will make her Hindi movie debut with the pan-India movie “Jawan” opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The actor didn’t gain overnight fame, as she had to work hard to prove her mettle. Cult movies like “Sri Rama Rajyam”, “Chandramukhi”, “Ghajini”, “Raja Rani”, “Aramm”, “Iru Mugan”, and “Netrikann” gave her an instant spotlight. 

Not only that, but she also owns a production house named ‘Rowdy Pictures’, which was launched in 2021. Under the banner, critically-acclaimed movies like “Koozhangal”, “Netrikann” and “Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal” were produced. 

On the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in the Tamil horror movie “Connect”. She will also be seen in Atlee’s “Jawan” and an untitled film with Zee Studios, which will be directed by Nilesh Krishnaa of “Shimmgga” fame.
