INDIA: Jai Balayya! Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Telugu hit Akhanda is set to release in Hindi on big screens. The high-octane action drama bagged a dubbed trailer today, January 5, 2023.
The Telugu blockbuster will hit theatres on January 20, 2023. Earlier, the makers created hype in the Hindi belt by releasing a cryptic poster that read, “WE HAVE AN EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR YOU. STAY TUNED…”
Akhanda Hindi dubbed trailer arrived with a bang
Pen Studios Official Twitter handle unveiled the trailer. Boyapati Srinu’s directorial Akhanda starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth round up the talented star cast in pivotal roles. The high-octane actioner was released on December 2, 2021.
Since its debut, the action drama roared at the box office with a humongous collection at the ticket booth. According to multiple media reports, Akhanda collected a whopping amount of ₹ 151 crores on a budget of ₹ 60 crores.
With triumphal numbers at the box office run, the movie landed on the second spot of the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2021. The action-drama feature also gained the tag of Balakrishna’s highest-grossing film throughout his filming journey.
Critics gave mixed reviews for over-the-top action sequences, but box office numbers indicate that the audience not only showered their love on the movie but also cherished it.
Akhanda bagged high praises from the theatre audience for S. Thaman’s electrifying background score. The interval scene and dialogue delivery of Nandamuri Balakrishna captivated the hearts of many viewers.
Following the tremendous success of Akhanda in Telugu, now the film is eyeing to create a storm among the Hindi audience. However, the film is arriving a few days prior to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which means a box office clash between both films is expected to happen.
Besides Akhanda Hindi release, Nandamuri Balakrishna is set to feature in Veera Simha Reddy. Gopichand Malineni’s directorial film is set to release on January 12, 2023.
