INDIA: Hombale Films, production house responsible for box office behemoths like KGF film franchise and Kantara has now unveiled another huge announcement regarding their investment in the upcoming year.

Hombale Films announces a whopping Rs 3000 crore investment for upcoming movies

The South Indian film industry managed to gained massive fandom in the last two years with the exceptional magic they have created through their movies. Especially Telugu and Kannada film has collected massive numbers at the box office in Hindi belt.

The Kannada Film Industry’s content-specified movies which acts as a fusion of artistic and massy elements have changed filmmaking’s whole narrative with the blockbuster release of KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara.

Both critically acclaimed films were made under the banner of Hombale Films. The production house is making its comeback with the upcoming Telugu project, Salaar

Taking a level up to the investment of filmmaking, Vijay Kiragandur, the co-founder of Hombale Films, announced that the banner will invest Rs 3000 Crores in the entertainment industry in the next 5 years. 

Vijay Kiragandur announced via his social media account. He stated that cinema entertainment has been around since the beginning of time, and it has been seen, experienced, and loved by everyone.

The co-founder defined cinema as a major source of relaxation and happiness, regardless of the circumstances. He further added that additionally, it has served as a potent carrier of our history, culture, and traditions, allowing us to present our identity to the rest of the world.

According to Kiragandur, “As we begin the new year, we pledge to create captivating material with an immersive experience that will leave you with a lasting memory and an imprint that will never fade. With this interest in mind, we promise to invest Rs 3,000 crore over the next five years to support the entertainment industry’s sustainable growth.”

The renowned production house Hombale Films is going to deliver a high-budget movie Salaar featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj in the lead roles. The Telugu action-thriller is one of the most awaited projects bankrolled by Hombale Films. 

Besides this, Kantara 2, the Malayalam film Tyson, Tamil film Raghu Thatta starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead, are a few upcoming projects that are lined up under the prestigious banner.
