5. Sonic Prime

Following the adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog in the hit live-action film, it’s now time to witness the adventure of our beloved character in animated form. Yes, you read it correctly. The upcoming series Sonic Prime brings a full-fledged series with a touch of 3D animation. 

The show’s voice cast includes Deven Mack, Shannon Chan-Kent, Brain Drummond, and Ashleigh Ball. The Netflix animated series is set to release on December 15, 2022.

4. Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area Part 2

The second part of the Korean adaptation of the popular Spanish series La Casa de Papel lands in the fourth spot on our list. The heist team is set to return with a bang starring Yoo Ji-tae as Professor, Jeon Jong-seo as Tokyo, Park Hae-soo as Berlin, Lee Hyun-woo as Rio, and many more.

The trailer for the much-awaited series was also released a few weeks ago. The short glimpse of the upcoming Netflix show created hype among viewers. The series is arriving on December 9, 2022. 

3. Pinocchio

The visionary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio lands in the third spot. The Netflix adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s The Adventures of Pinocchio appears to be a completely unique movie from its previous versions. The trailer opened to a huge fan response for its stop-motion animation art style.

The Academy Award-winning filmmaker’s out-of-the-box touch to the musical fantasy film hints at a visual treat. The movie features a talented voice ensemble, including Ewan McGregor, Finn Wolfhard, David Bradley, Cate Blanchett, and Tilda Swinton. The Netflix film will be available to stream on December 9, 2022. 

2. Lookism

Park Tae-Joon’s South Korean webtoon is arriving in anime format this month. Since the announcement of Lookism, the series bagged a huge response, all thanks to its popularity among the manhwa readers. 

The Netflix anime was earlier set to release on November 4, 2022, but it was delayed for unknown reasons. Studio MIR’s anime adaptation will hit OTT screens on December 8, 2022.

1. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Rian Johnson’s much-awaited sequel to the hit film Knives Out (2019) lands on the top spot of our list. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery promises another murder mystery from Johnson with the return of Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc. 

Once again, the thriller Netflix feature stars a talented star cast, including Edward Norton, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, and many more. The murder mystery feature is set to release on December 23, 2022.
