Shah Rukh Khan’s major film titles set to release on big screens
Pathaan
Yes! It’s an obvious title to join the list, but also an important one. Siddharth Anand’s directorial Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Kahn in the lead, is the most significant title. The film land as SRK’s comeback as his previous film Zero was released in 2018, and since then, no major title has arrived.
Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham at the forefront. Yash Raj Films’ actioner is set in Spy Universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and War (2019). Given the film’s setting in the YRF’s cinematic universe, it is speculated that Salman Khan will also appear in a cameo appearance.
Today, the teaser of Shah Ruk Khan’s Pathaan also shattered the internet with a humongous fan response. The behemoth response of fans is also expected to unfold on big screens on January 25, 2023.
Jawan
Following Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan will appear next in another action thriller, Jawan. The highly popular Tamil director Atlee will bring his actioner vision along with the star power of SRK to the big screens. The upcoming film serves as a fusion of Bollywood and Kollywood.
Besides SRK, Atlee’s actioner also features prominent stars, which include Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover. In addition to famous acting names, musical magician Anirudh Ravichander will score the soundtrack for the Pan-Indian actioner.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan bagged a title announcement video on June 3, 2022, which literally accelerated with his unique look and Anirudh’s high-on-life background music. The action-thriller is set to hit screens on June 2, 2023.
Dunki
After Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will join another unique venture titled Dunki. Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial film is the next big name, adding to the list of SRK’s upcoming movies. The film marks the first-time team-up of King Khan with Rajkumar Hirani.
Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu as the leading lady. Boman Irani will also star in a prominent role. In addition to joining the director’s seat, Rajkumar Hirani also penned the script for the film. Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films will bankroll the upcoming movie.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki received the title announcement video on April 19, 2022, which, much like any other SRK film announcement, opened to massive fan response. Rajkumar Hirani’s film will arrive on big screens on December 22, 2023.
