AUSTRALIA: In their second game of the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team is prepared to face the Netherlands. The Indian team is in great shape after winning a thrilling match against Pakistan.
On paper, the blue team—which will face the Dutch team on October 27—is superior. The Dutch team, though, has advanced far in this World Cup and dominated the first round.
When Team India plays with the team Netherlands on Thursday, they’re probably going to use the same starting lineup that beat Pakistan.
On Wednesday, India’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, provided a squad update. “No one is taking a break. Every game becomes crucial as you gain momentum in the tournament and want each player to be in top form,” he stated.
Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who picked up three wickets and scored 40 runs in a key partnership with Virat Kohli against Pakistan, faced questions about his physical condition. Pandya felt cramps while batting in the team’s final innings of the chase. But he is fit, according to reports, and will play the next match.
In contrast, despite the win against Pakistan, India’s starting lineup still does not appear to be completely established. To pull off the illustrious victory, the team had to rely on a few outstanding performances.
Rishabh Pant, the blue team’s lone left-handed batsman, is set to be left out once more as they play with the same XI, disappointing many supporters. Yuzvendra Chahal is another player who has been doing well and is still outside the team.
